 Social Events

Social program costs:

  • Social events are included in the cost of full registration. The cost of social events has been fully discounted using funds raised from sponsorship.
  • Day registrants can purchase tickets to all social events at cost (see below).
  • Space permitting, tickets are available for partners of conference participants at cost (see below).
  • To assist us with catering, when completing online registration, principals will be asked to nominate which social events they will be attending.
  • At any time prior to an event, should you decide not to attend, please inform  Vicki Harris, Registration Coordinator by e-mail: vicki.harris@det.nsw.edu.au or at the conference office once the conference has begun. This will help to ensure that event numbers are accurate and catering that is not required does not have to be paid for.
  • There are no refunds for conference events that registrants choose not to attend, nor are tickets transferable.

 

Tuesday 24 October, 5:00 – 8:00pm: Welcome to Conference

  • Welcome to Conference is a subsidised event, with two drink vouchers included in the registration pack.
  • Day registrants may attend at cost ($30 plus drinks).
  • Partners of registered principals may attend, space permitting, at cost ($30 plus drinks).
  • Snacks, but not dinner, will be provided at Welcome to Conference.
  • Dress: Casual.
  • Venue: Foyer, Level 3 Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.

 

 Wednesday 25 October, 7:00pm – 11.30pm: Dockside

  • The cost of Dockside, a social evening by Cockle Bay, is included in full conference registration.
  • A three-course meal and drinks are included.
  • Day registrants may attend at cost.
  • Partners of registered principals may attend, space permitting, at cost.
  • Dress: smart casual.

 

Friday 27 October, 7.00pm: Dinner (with pre-dinner drinks at 6.30pm)

  • Dinner is included in full conference registration.
  • Day registrants may attend at cost.
  • Partners of registered principals may attend, space permitting, at cost.
  • Non-registered principals may attend, space permitting, at the discretion of the Conference Convener, at cost.
  • Dress: Evening or cocktail wear for women and a suit for men.
  • Raffle tickets available for purchase at $5 each during pre-dinner drinks. Don’t miss your opportunity to win a night at the Sofitel Wentworth. Funds raised will support Stewart House, our conference charity.
  • Venue: The Grand Ballroom, Level 3 Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.
